About Us

The Christ Church Jabalpur Diocesan High School, ISC of today was first known as St. Paul’s Church Primary School established in 1920 by the Missionaries. The school even had Hostel at that time. Two lady missionaries from Scotland worked to impart education to the children of the area and in 1944 when recognition was granted to the school by the Government, the Primary School was renamed as the Smyth High School after these two missionaries. In 1951 recognition for the school to run as a Middle School was received.

However, with the passing of time, the school did not have many students since English Medium Schools were the attraction and hence there was drastic decline in the strength of the school. It was during this time that significant decision with a vision by the Founders was taken with the trust in the Almighty the vision became a reality to those in need of a proper education. The Founders worked zealously day and night to create a new school to educate the masses and revived the quality of teaching and learning by means of innovative practice and leading edge technology.

On the 12th of August 2010 with sheer hardship and self determination, the foundation stone was laid for a new school. Surpassing all the hurdles, we overcame victoriously to achieve the VISION with blessings of God. However on the 3rd of December 2011 we celebrated the Founder’s Day of the New School “ Christ Church Jabalpur Diocesan High School, ISC ”.
The School got permanent affiliation with ICSE/ISC on 21/08/2017 with affiliation number M.P.037
